COMMUNITY IN A TOURIST DESTINATION

The Dojo Climbing in its current form was founded in the winter of 2020.

The building is three decades old and was originally used as a judo and kendo dojo, hence the name.

The tatami mats were cleared away and a bouldering wall and cafe bar were built in its place, by local builders Tomii Kenchiku.
